Veterans: G3

No other Battlefield 3 weapon let's you carry this outbetter than the G3. Just make sure to learn when to switch to full-auto and when to keep it at the semi-auto. When clearing a room,let the bullets fly. When taking a shot from a hundred yards away,semi-auto is the way to go.

Just like the M416 assault rifle, the G36C is an exceptional, medium-range weapon Battlefield 3. All its stats are well-balanced and it'll keep new players ahead of the curve. It has aslightly faster fire rate than the larger M416 and has the ability toturn any novice into a threat on the battlefield. New players willwant to aim to unlock this weapon quick Battlefield 3.
Veterans: SCAR-H
Veteran engineers from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will knowthat the scar was the gun to use. The SCAR-H is a Battlefield 3weapon with a slow fire rate and clip size extremely small, but it makes up for all of its weaknesses with its stopping power. Thecarbines are for engineers who are getting into close-rangecombat in the thick of battle, and that is exactly where thisBattlefield 3 weapon excels.
Light Machine Guns
Newbies: M60
The first awesome light machine gun players will unlock is theM60. Devastating stopping power, an intense fire rate and clip agigantic size are all attributes of this Battlefield 3 weapon. Newplayers looking to play the support class will want to unlock thisweapon as soon as possible. This gun, coupled with the supportclass "new" suppressing fire "ability, will be a force to bereckoned with.
Veterans: M249
Advanced players who are used to the kickback from lightmachine guns will want to unlock the M249. It has, what may be,the fastest rate of any fire Battlefield 3 weapon. Unloading itsfrightening clip size in a few seconds will make sure enemies will be terrified to peek out of cover, Allowing your squad mates tomove in closer for the kill.
Sniper Rifles
Newbies: SKS
Players who want to try out sniping, but I feel a little intimidated,should become acquainted with the starting Battlefield 3weapons long enough to unlock the SKS. The semi-auto sniperrifle is not the most subtle of choices, as it encourages players tounload on a target if they miss the first shot, but it takes thepressure off of rookie snipers.
Veterans: M98B
Veterans know that any respectable sniper will be using abolt-action weapon Battlefield 3. The M98B will be a thorn in yourside but if you miss, chances are, if you're using this weapon, youwill not be missing. It has amazing accuracy and one-shot killstopping power. But you'll be aiming for the head anyway, right?

The Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW)is the deadliest piece of weaponry in the hands of a true vet. Itfires high-explosive dual-purpose rockets and does not need tobe locked-on to fire. Enjoy shooting missiles at enemies butremember to lead your target before them devastating.
